*_*Soccer Sucks-er... | "Amor di Pilar"*_*
Hey..it's been a while since i've posted anything here...I miss blogging! whahaha..My online diary.. Ok let's start... Last Friday (July 21), it was this one day that we hardly did anything in class! I mean, we just took the test in NCM 106 then had some lectures..then in the afternoon, we had no classes because our teacher was absent! He wasn't feeling well according to our beadle...GOOD! whahahaha..and we were supposed to have an exam in that subject (Jurisprudence)... It was only around 2:25 PM when we decided to leave the classroom..So as usual, we headed to Mindpro and just wasted our time there.. We were waiting for 4:30 PM because our classmate Antonio Yap, "An Yap" for short, had a soccer game and he invited us to watch it.. And so we did! We were the his supporters there! whahaha..it was so funny.. We were so loud and noisy..Good thing it was in the backfield! We were sitting on the grass near the soccer field and it was kinda scary! Because the ball might just hit us! And I totally don't wanna get hit by a soccer ball when real players kick it.. It's just too scary! During the game, I was wearing an 3/4ths off-shoulders blouse with abstract prints on it and my anime-airspray painted pants with my wedges and I was sitting beside Bianca the entire game. There were other spectators standing from my left and most of them were guys...While we were already screaming and cheering for Yap, Bianca whispered to me that I should be careful because some guys from my left were trying to take a sneak peak of my chest! (Imagine: Me sitting+off shoulders blouse=peep show!) CRAP! Raging-hormones of some no-goodlooking guy was trying to have a free show of my bossoms! If only I had the guts to be scandalous there and then I would have humiliated him in front of all those people there! But I didn't, instead, I got my bag and covered my front... But I got uncomfortable with the situation and got up and went beside Omeng, my big guy friend and stayed there. When Onnah informed Omeng about it, he said that that "guy" was a perv because in the gym, he also makes "porma" to any girl there..What a loser... And he said that it was Mrs. Sumayang's son...(She was our PE Dance Instructor). I never knew she had a son because she was so....nevermind... And he did look like her in some angles... *shivers* ewww looking guy... I'm going to make sumbong sa Jaychi kow bout that! Malalagot tlga siya...humanda siya!! hmph!! Anyway, back to the game, An Yap's team lost...awww..we were jinxed?! oh well..that's like...4-0...gawd.... too bad..That's what happened last Friday!!
Yes it’s Saturday! So many things to do...so little time! Whehehe...First thing in the morning, we went to school with Joseph because we planned to go to the gym to work out! YES.. to get smelly and sweaty! To burn those fats and feel the muscles pains the next day! Whahaha...And so we did! We do have a mini gym in school in the MPCC and they do have enough equipment needed to work out. All I needed was to burn some fats and just sweat a little...while Joseph wanted to work on his chest and abs...I too wanted to work with my abs...because I have flabs!! Yes...doughnut-kind of flabs...and also my arms and legs I guess.. I feel so fat...Gym makes me feel good! It’s just like playing Badminton but with lesser hassles of picking up the shuttlecock and all the running about.. I did some exercises for my triceps, abs, butt, thighs and legs...Now, I feel the pain on my thighs rather than on my abs.. When I try to bend, sit, or climb the stairs, I do it real slowly...It hurts man! I did do some stretching...and maybe skipped some but still!! The pain...but it’s good pain.. It only means it’s working! Whahaha...But after our gym session, Bianca met us there and headed to Jollibee to eat! Guess what I had? Chicken Joy with some Cheesy Bacon Fries and a Cafe Latte Blizz...WOW...I think the work out was useless!! Whahaha...After eating we decided to hangout here at home so we rented some DVDs and watched it in my cousin’s house. We watched Take the Lead by Antonio Banderas and The American Haunting that’s currently showing in Mindpro. We had fun watching it. When Joseph left, Thirdy, our classmate txted Bianca and asked her if she wanted to attend the premiere night of his girlfriend’s local film entitled "Amor di Pilar". It’s a film made here in Zamboanga and the actress in the film is from our school and she’s really pretty. I said to her, "Sige Bianx! Ask if have pa le extra ticket..anda ta! I wanna watch!! Ok ya kel because libre lang man…Keber, 500 worth of ticket kel!" whahaha...And so she txted Thirdy asking about the details and stuff.. He said that it was a formal event so we need to be in our formal attires...we were like, GOWNS, MAKE-UP AND HAIR?? Uh oh...too late for that! And it was going to start at 7 PM...and it was what? 6:30 PM! Waaaah!! So we asked if we totally should wear a gown to attend that event but he said kahit semi-formal pwede na daw...so ok GO!! Bianca went home to prepare and I took a bath and started preparing as well! I asked my uncle to bring and fetch us to Garden Orchid Convention Center. We fetched Bianca and we arrived at 8 PM and it was already starting. We went in and it was dark and there was a projector up front and the movie already started! So we found our place and sat and watched the film.
The synopsis:
There's this guy named Nick from Manila who has a Zamboangena wife who later died in the film. Then he stayed with his in-laws..His wife has a younger sister named Pilar who fell in love with Nick and this started a forbidded kind of relationship.. Pilar's parents were against this relationship and exiled the guy back to Manila...many years passed and the guy decides to go back in Zamboanga and when he got back, Pilar was there for him..with a daughter... that's about it!
The film ended at around 10 PM...My comments on the film? It was DISAPPOINTING! Man! Good thing that ticket was free! It would have been such a big mistake buying that 500 pesos worth of ticket! The film was dragging, the lines weren’t delivered well, their acting sucks, and it wasn’t so convincing!! Forgive me, but these are my criticisms... I mean, I was expecting so many things but these expectations didn’t even meet half way of the things that I had imagined... I can’t get over it...Yeah the sceneries were nice..It made me even say na, wow...bien bale man gayot el Zamboanga alyi na movie! But it wasn’t really reality. For example, in Fort Pilar.. in the movie, there were no people there! That was IMPOSSIBLE.. and in school.. there were no STUDENTS? That was also IMPOSSIBLE! Basta...I don’t wanna think about it anymore..and they even made a billboard of it...promoting it...OMG.. I’m not even sure what to tell others if they asked about the film…should I say, "Watch at your own risk..." or maybe "yeah, ok lang…pwede na!" or "It’s a crappy movie! Don’t invest your money on something not worth it!" I pity the actors...What would people think of them? waaaaaaaah... Can’t take it anymore...oh well...That’s showbiz for ya...
